30 days of thankfulness days 7 and 8
Day 7 November 7,2015
Today I have quite a few things that I am thankful for. I am thankful for friends who help me let me vent even if it is about stools and the consistency of it. I have a really good friend who has listened to me vent about my husbands diarrhea issue. It never seemed to gross her out and she even helped with some ideas of how to help firm it up. I know that hearing about it is gross and not the most wanted thing to listen to but no matter how bad or gross it got she still listened and to an extent she helped me calm down a bit as well. She has been and is a rockstar for listening to me rant about it.
I am also thankful for food. Yes after a little over a month, we were approved for foodstamps to get some actual healthy and more filling food in the house. We were able to get some milk and few other things before we officially went grocery shopping. I am so grateful for God's mercy on that one and that it was the one thing that was needed to give. I have been praying that something was going to have to give and did. I am so thankful for that.
I am also thankful for a night with just me and Jason. My girls were staying over night with their brother. It was nice to enjoy a night of peace and quiet. Although it was a bit stressful because of the whole diarrhea issue. I am still grateful for being able to spend time with him.
Day 8 November 8, 2015
Today I am thankful for and awesome friend who helped me stay grounded, sane and help me find humor in this whole mess. Even if it is the smallest amount of humor it helped. Currently my sanity is almost non existant. Trying to figure out if Jason is getting better or now what is causing his issues how to fix said issues etc. She gave me one thing to tell myself and that its not icy hot on the nuts. It does help, but as of right its back and forth.
I am also thankful for God. He has been listening to me rant, rave, show my anger, frustration, worry, listening to me vocalize how stressed out Jason's diarrhea has made me. He has heard my cry etc and even the slightest bit of peace that he has given has helped me so much. Right I am just praying to God that Jason gets over this crap and is done with it soon. I am so worried about him and hope that he is over it soon so we dont need to get him looked at.
Well that is all for now I will talk to you later.

Long time LOTS of thoughts.
I agree with her. For one it is really hard to feed family of 3, 4 or 5 people on food stamps. My family is on food stamps, and it is NOT easy to feed every one or make sure that we have enough food in the house. My kids eat A LOT I could have this house well stocked, and it could be gone in less than a month. Trust me been there done that lots of times. Feeding my family for $29 a week. Well believe me it is a lot harder than most think. I have gone to Aldi's and bought what would seem to be a lot food, and it may last a week sometimes less. We have to do what we call meal counting which is trying to find affordable sometimes quick meals that may or may not last the amount of days they are supposed to. That doesnt always mean that these meals will be healthy either. Believe me I wish they were. We do our very best to try and make sure that the meals we get are both healthy and filling. Do we always succeed? NO. We don't in fact most of the time it is a close second to healthy and more on the filling side. I also agree that if the government really wants to know how hard it is to ask the families who are actually on the foodstamp or wellfare program. I will tell you right now, that it is extremely difficult. I do wish that both the democrats and republicans should try the challenge to see for themselves how difficult it is. On the coupon comment. I agree 100% it darn near difficult for me to go up to Dillon's Walmart or anywhere else and use coupons and not have people look at me like what is my issue or like i am poor. It is hard to tell my kids that they cant have things because I dont have the money. In fact I had a discussion with my kids about this earlier today. Jason and I do our best to make sure our kids have the best. We work as much as we can. I work I go to school, I sell advocare products and make and sell hand made crochet items. I am making some of their clothing items socks, etc. The point of the matter is that we are doing our best to get by. It is hard, sometimes very stressful, painful etc. Jason and I are not quitters. In fact we are fighters and will always be. On that note I am going to end my rant here before I continue on.

Changes

In other news, I have also enrolled in school to go back again for nursing so I can get my RN. I am still currently waiting for my financial aide to be cleared so I can start and now have to worry about payments. I have also been in orientation for a sitter position at the hospital. I float from all the Via Christi hospitals as sitter. Yup lots of changes in deed as well as me:) I am very excited about. I am praying that it all works itself out, as well as my advocare business. So far so good. Well I better get off here so I can get my house in order. I hope you all have a wonderful day..jpg)

a quick post
~ The Week Before Christmas Poem 'Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the town, Not a sign of Baby Jesus, was anywhere to be found. The people were all busy with Christmas time chores, Like decorating, and baking, and shopping in stores. No one sang, "Away in a manger, no crib for a bed." Instead, they sang of Santa, dressed up in bright red. Mama watched Martha Stewart, Papa drank from a tap. As hour upon hour the presents they'd wrap. Then what from the TV did they suddenly hear? An ad, which told of a big sale down at Sears. So away to the mall they all flew like a flash, Buying some things on credit, and others with cash! And, as they made their way home from their trip to the mall, Did they think about Jesus? Oh, no, not at all. Their lives were so busy with their Christmas time things, They had no time to remember Christ Jesus, the King. There were presents to wrap and cookies to bake. How could they stop and remember the One who died for their sake? To pray to the Savior, they had no time to stop. Because they needed more time to "Shop till they drop!" On Wal-mart! On K-mart! On Target! On Penney's! On Hallmark! On Zales! A quick lunch at Denny's! From the big stores downtown to the stores at the mall, They would dash away, dash away, and visit them all! And up on the roof, there arose such a clatter, As grandpa hung icicle lights, using his brand new step ladder. He hung lights that would flash. He hung lights that would twirl. Yet, he never once prayed, to Jesus, the Light of the World. Christ's eyes--how they twinkle! Christ's Spirit--how merry! Christ's love--how enormous! All of our burdens--He'll carry! ~ So instead of being busy, overworked, and uptight. Let's put CHRIST back in CHRISTmas, and enjoy a good night. *God bless and keep sharing the Good News !!! ~ C4C
